Occupational Hand Therapist

Kim was formerly co-owner of Hand in Hand Therapy and has been a certified hand therapist for over 20 years. Prior to her private practice experience Kim developed Tucson Medical Center’s hand therapy services. She received her BS in Occupational Therapy from Colorado State University and has been trained to provide services to patients from pediatric through the geriatric age groups.

Kim has made her home in Tucson and has worked continuously as a hand therapist since 1988. Her scope of practice includes, but is not limited to: rehabilitation of orthopedic impairments from the shoulder to the fingertips, custom splinting, wound care, tendon transfers, joint replacement therapy, addressing activities of daily living, use of adaptive equipment, work conditioning and ergonomic applications. Kim has established many close working relationships with noted physicians and surgeons in the Tucson community who have expressed the utmost confidence when referring their patients to her, because of the quality of care she provides and the team approach practiced.
